I'm so happy because you are here. You are an essential part of lependant.com. This is a safe place for everyone. Now, I'm going to tell you a few things about me and my work.
Since I was a little girl, I have been attracted to the behavior of the human being, the origin of things, and the possibility that we have to create and learn, learn about science, mathematics, aesthetics, art, letters, and the interaction of all these elements at a social and educational level.
I have a bachelor's degree in Educational Sciences with an Emphasis in Teaching and another in Fine Arts. I have completed the Specialization in Creative Writing from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, and I am currently a law student. I was recently appointed vice president of the Student Community.
I have prepared myself in Human Rights in the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights of the Interamerican Institute of Human Rights, and I have participated in summits and seminars at the Embassy for the peace in Costa Rica, Costa Rica Limpia, and the Paris Agreement, between others.
I worked as a knowledge facilitator in the Associated Working Entrepreneurial Minds (META) program of the Asociación Hogar y Cultura (Home and Culture Association in Costa Rica). Here, I worked with the students of the program and those who do University Community Work (TCU). I have also developed my thesis programs in public and private educational institutions.
I'm the author of the book «A la Paz Social por las Artes Plásticas» aimed at secondary school, as well as two honor thesis, the first aimed at promoting the concept of Social Peace as a path to Human Development, and the second one on The Illustration for the Program of Teaching of Fine Arts in Costa Rica.
I am passionate about knowledge and learning, and I am excited when one person can be an expert in anything in a self-taught way. I do not limit the knowledge to the profession that one decides (or not) to have. I have studied the universe, the cosmos, mathematics, fashion, and many other things in equal depth as the above. Knowledge has never been easy to obtain or share, and I love and honor it.
I find hope when I discover new information in a raw and natural way, information that is not always beautiful, not always loving, but with different faces that we must know.
Remember that you can write me at alejandracoto@lependant.com.
Love, Ale.
